We adopted Koda in July from All Breed Animal Rescue. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. Carter and I discussed getting a pet for several months and knew we wanted to adopt from a shelter or independent animal rescue. After weighing the financial aspects and extra responsibility of having a pet we started looking and found Koda! He was 9 months old when we adopted him from a couple who had loved and fostered him until his forever family - us - found him!
Koda has been an adventure for us. Carter and I have become much more active than we used to be and often find ourselves watching him play instead of watching TV. We look forward to many more years with our Koda boy and hope to add another dog or cat to our family in the future.
