Carter and I met sometime during my junior year of high school (his freshman year of college) at an insurance company where our moms' worked. We passed each other on the stairwell and I thought he was so handsome I could barely introduce myself. Through our moms' help we exchanged emails and eventually agreed to catch a movie together...and the rest is history. We easily became best friends.Within a couple of months we knew we loved each other and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We were married on May 30, 2009 after I graduated from Roanoke College and Carter from Virginia Tech.
After our wedding we moved to North Carolina so Carter could attend seminary. I work as an Optical Consultant. Our desire is to glorify God in our lives as much as possible. We want to live by following the precepts of his Word, loving those around us well, praying together and living wisely.
